Just a word of warning for people who follow me for Glee/Samcedes:
I’m sure that by now most of you have noticed that I’m not posting nearly as much Glee as I used to and that’s for a number of reasons. The online fandom has gotten to be ridiculous and tiring it really does suck a lot of the fun out of watching the show. This season has only had a couple brightspots for me (Samcedes of course being one of them), and the rest of it has been a pile of crap pretty much.
Basically I’m done with the show I think. Depending on how things look when it comes back from it’s hiatus, I’ll probably stick it out until the finale but that’ll be it for me.
I won’t be deleting this blog by any means, I love the people that I follow and I have no interest in starting up a brand new one haha. And I’ll still be posting Amber/Samcedes stuff when it pops, it just won’t be as much as it was before. I’ll be posting much more OUAT stuff, and so if that’s not your thing I totally understand if you need to unfollow me. I’m considering a name change too but I’ll of course let people know when/if I decide on a new one.
So all this to say: Less Glee stuff, more Once Upon A Time and whatever the hell else I find interesting lol. Thank you to all the people who follow me and continue to put up with my foolishness, sad tearful goodbye to the people who have to unfollow.
Because when someone slut-shames Naya over Twitter? OUTRAGE.
Someone hacks into Dianna’s Twitter or steals nudes from Heather’s phone? OUTRAGE.
Someone makes a homophobic comment to Chris? OUTRAGE.
But when someone makes racist and sizest comments about Amber over Twitter, nobody does shit. And that just leads me to believe that the fandom itself isn’t phased by racism. Or even that some of the fandom agrees with the sentiments being expressed by that person and therefore is choosing not to act.
I SEE YOU FANDOM.
And this was written before that page even went up.
And this is exactly what I thought. Interesting. So essentially, more people blocked this account than the one about Amber that’s been up since last night.
Do people honestly expect me to believe that the fandom loves the whole cast equally and is willing to defend them against hateful things like this? I believe that they do it for the ones they care about. But that’s pretty much where it stops.
“Red-Handed” - After quitting Granny’s diner and with her self-esteem at an all-time low, Emma hires Ruby to be her assistant in order to help her discover what it is in life that she’s good at; and Emma continues questioning David about the disappearance - and possible murder - of Kathryn. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was, Red Riding Hood yearns to run away with her true love. But she, along with her fellow townspeople, are virtual prisoners when a bloodthirsty wolf continues on its relentless killing spree, on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, MARCH 11 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
I love me some Ruby/Red Riding Hood!!!
Like, you know, for no particular reason.
Yup, she’s just curious. Has nothing to do with a blonde football player.
